Aberration01 is a small, dark-green bioform visible in two sealed fluid tanks in Dairon. The available view is deliberately poor: bubbles, fluid distortion, and the tank wall leave only the face, red eyes, and general mass consistently readable. That limitation matters. The specimen is not evidence of a fully understood species; it is evidence that someone considered this particular living material worth isolating.
No active aggression, free movement, or feeding behavior has been documented outside the tanks. The important observation is the repeated containment arrangement. Two similarly prepared chambers imply more than an incidental trapped animal, but they do not disclose whether the subjects were gathered from local fauna, maintained as a research line, or held because their biology reacted unusually to the Dairon environment.
Anatomy And Physiology
The visible body is compact and dark green, with red eyes that remain legible even through the bubbling medium. Beyond that, an anatomical inventory would be premature. The liquid hides limb placement, skin texture, respiratory structures, and the full outline of the torso. It is more accurate to describe the current morphology as partially observed than to fill those gaps with the anatomy of a familiar animal.
The tank system provides indirect physiological evidence. A rupture would change the interpretation of the room immediately. The main concern would be the release of warmed fluid, suspended material, and any organisms or microbes it carries, not a charge from the small body itself. The tanks should therefore be documented as a linked biological and environmental unit rather than as glass containers with an incidental occupant.
Behavior And Ecological Significance
Observed behavior is limited to remaining within the fluid volume. This may reflect dormancy, low metabolic activity, a normal aquatic state, or suppression by the containment environment.
