Quiet Robe was a Thoha Chozo scientist who participated in the long effort to contain the Metroids on SR388. The Thoha saw the species as a danger that had exceeded its creators' control and favored eradication over weaponization.
Raven Beak and the Mawkin chose the opposite path. They massacred the Thoha leadership and kept Quiet Robe alive because his lineage carried the trait associated with Metroid control, making him useful to a bioweapon project he opposed.
On ZDR, Quiet Robe survived as a prisoner and later encountered Samus in Ferenia. His testimony gave the clearest account of the conflict between Thoha restraint and Mawkin conquest, as well as the X outbreak that destroyed most Mawkin forces.
