That limitation is not a failure of the record. Sparse wildlife observations often carry real ecological value when they are kept precise. Artarian Rod confirms that small aerial movement continues through both cave and forest environments, and its presence near other fauna gives a glimpse of an active background food web even when the animal itself cannot be inspected at arm's length.

Future work should focus on repeated flight lines at dawn-like light shifts, water boundaries, and openings between cave and forest zones rather than searching only the floor where the species is rarely seen.
