The documented body can advance across exposed ground while projecting a coherent beam from the mouth, releasing gas, and launching pod-like structures from its back.
Its armor is not uniform in practical effect. The knee joints and mouth are the only consistently identified vulnerable access points, which gives the animal a highly directional risk profile. A team facing the shell from the front does not have the same options as a team observing a halted animal with the mouth open or a leg joint exposed.
The Rohkor Beetle should not be filed as a Tallon IV beetle merely because of its common name. Available observations specifically do not support that relationship. Bion range, enormous scale, armored joint structure, and pod release define this record more usefully than an assumed taxonomic connection.
Armored Body And Access Points
The body is built around a massive armored shell and multiple jointed legs. Its knees are mechanically and biologically distinct from the surrounding armor, and the open mouth presents a second exposed interface. Neither weak point should be described as an easy or permanent vulnerability: both are opportunities that depend on angle, timing, and the animal current behavior.
A mouth beam and gas discharge show that the forward body is not passive armor. The beetle can turn an apparent approach corridor into an active hazard zone, especially where the ground offers little cover. It does not establish a diet, reproductive cycle, exact relationship to the other Bion fauna, or a connection to the beetles of Tallon IV.
Future study should recover a spent pod before it contacts the ground, characterize the gas at range, and compare shell and knee tissue without assuming it belongs to a familiar insect family. Until then, Rohkor Beetle remains a distinct Bion megafauna record with an unusual associated-hazard pattern.
