The old war ended without a living government capable of reconciling the planet. The Lords of Science and Primal orders are gone as political authorities, but their machines, symbols, damaged climate systems, and automated tests still shape field conditions. Bryyo is therefore not simply post-collapse; it is a world where the infrastructure of collapse continues to operate.

Planetary Geology

Bryyo's geology is dominated by war damage and environmental engineering. Toxic dust storms sweep large surface regions, seismic instability compromises old foundations, and volcanic districts expose fuel-gel systems that appear to have been routed through natural heat channels and artificial conduits. The broadly habitable surface is restricted to a narrow equatorial band where jungle, ruin, and volcanic terrain occur in close proximity. A golem chamber, fuel-gel breach, missing survey team, Primal archive, or Space Pirate salvage attempt can all become Bryyo-centered without reducing the world to a generic ruin field. The best objectives force teams to decide whether they are repairing a system, disarming it, or trespassing inside it.

The central lesson is restraint. Bryyo shows that technology can survive its government and continue enforcing dead assumptions on living bodies. Any team that leaves a machine more unstable than it found it has extended the old war by another day.
