Its partial organic character makes the pod more disturbing than an ordinary torpedo. Reports describe fleshy interior structures and optical organs similar to those associated with other Pirate organic technology. This means a boarding site can contain mechanical debris, explosive residue, and living or semi-living control tissue in the same breach.

The outer material resembles that used on Anvil carriers and Shrike skiffs. That shared surface language links the pod to the same vehicle family even though its mission is far more disposable. A recovered hull fragment may therefore reveal both construction lineage and the severity of Pirate boarding doctrine.

Operational Profile

The best scenario makes the pod feel cheap, vicious, and frighteningly effective when Pirate command is willing to spend lives for access.
