Overview

The Bryyo Geemer is a regional Geemer form adapted to reliquary walls, cliffside ruins, and other continuous stone surfaces on Bryyo. Its most visible difference is the lack of walking legs. A broad gastropod-like foot carries the body forward in constant contact with the substrate, allowing steady movement across seams and irregular masonry where separate limbs would repeatedly lose purchase.

The compact carapace holds four yellow eyes and a puckered feeding mouth, while pale spines project far beyond the body edge. This combination gives the animal a small central mass with a much larger contact perimeter. The shell and spines deter close pressure, but the body is not built for speed or active pursuit; it relies on adhesion, bracing, and its ability to remain where more mobile animals cannot comfortably travel.

Its role is scavenging. By consuming waste and residue within overlooked wall routes, the Bryyo form links separate chambers through a slow but persistent movement pattern. That does not establish a specific disease risk in every site, but it does mean that refuse sources, animal tracks, and occupied surfaces should be documented together when a structure is being examined or restored.

Gastropod Foot And Spined Carapace

The foot distributes weight across a broad underside instead of concentrating it at multiple joints. This makes the form well suited to cracked stone and sloping carved surfaces, especially where debris or minor gaps interrupt a conventional walking route.
