Overview

The Anvil-Class Troop Carrier is a Space Pirate Horde armored insertion craft built to bring a force into contested terrain and keep it protected through the landing window. Its purpose is delivery, not open pursuit: the carrier creates a brief protected bridge between airspace and seized ground.

The hull gains value from armor and transport capacity, but pays for it with a large silhouette, slower correction, and exposed access points during deployment. A viable landing or hover corridor is therefore part of the craft’s operating system, not a secondary concern.

An Anvil cannot recover a failed insertion by itself. Once the carrier has committed to a zone, ground security, extraction planning, and the condition of the approach corridor determine whether its protection becomes an advantage or a trap.

Carrier Function And Landing Geometry

The carrier should be read as part of an occupation sequence. Its approach, firing window, troop release, and withdrawal route are one connected problem.
