Omega Suit is the archive's controlled name for the final documented recovery state of the Fusion Suit during the B.S.L. emergency. The label is necessary because the condition was visually and functionally distinct, yet no official mission designation identifies it as a separately named suit. It should be understood as a state description, not a claim of factory origin, standard issue, or completed restoration.

The key observed change was the return of Ice Beam compatibility after absorption of SA-X Core-X data. That event removed the immediate cold vulnerability associated with the post-vaccine Fusion Suit and provided the cryothermal response required during the terminal Omega Metroid confrontation. The effect was specific and consequential, but it did not rebuild the armor that had been surgically removed or erase the biological history of the Fusion condition.

The result is a useful technical boundary case. A living or bonded armor system can regain a lost function through recovered biological information, yet remain structurally altered and operationally constrained. The record is valuable because it separates restored capability from restored identity: the suit could use Ice Beam output again without becoming the original Power Suit it once resembled.
