Their presence identifies a guarded route, but does not by itself reveal what object or system lies beyond it.

The machines fire at non-Alimbic beings under the remaining security logic. That behavior is a standing authorization pattern, not evidence of individual hostility or judgment. A Psycho Bit cannot be meaningfully negotiated with from available evidence; it can only be interpreted through its patrol boundary, sensor arc, output model, and the infrastructure around it.

Field Boundaries

No reliable record establishes a self-reproducing factory, a living substrate, or a personality within the Psycho Bit family. The units are manufactured sentries and should not be given a diet, breeding cycle, or local ecology simply because they occur in groups. Their apparent coordination can be explained by shared security programming and site architecture without inventing a machine society.
