It retains the core aerial role of the Aero Trooper but carries an additional ablative armor layer and a different pod payload. Its presence identifies a position where the Pirates expect to fight across open vertical space rather than merely move through it.

The configuration is distinct because protective mass and aerial output have been balanced together. Two Remote Attack Pods remain close to the operator, one maintaining particle fire while the other carries a Gel Bomb Rack. The adhesive rounds attach to a body or surface before detonation, allowing the trooper to make height, speed, and cover geometry part of the hazard.

This is not a separate species from the standard Aero Trooper. It is a more heavily protected aerial issue whose armor resists beam-pattern energy better than explosive force. Operational Consequence

Particle fire establishes immediate pressure, while Gel Bombs punish a team that becomes fixed in place. A platform edge, maintenance cradle, or crowded landing point becomes less safe once an adhesive round can remain on the structure after the operator changes position. The most useful response is not blind pursuit; it is preserving a route that breaks pod line of sight and gives personnel time to remove or avoid an attached charge.

The armor changes equipment selection but not the underlying requirement for airspace awareness. An Advanced Aero Trooper is still constrained by fuel, pod clearance, available ceiling height, and the exposed propulsion assembly. The unit gains its greatest advantage when an opponent treats its movement as erratic rather than maps the repeatable lanes between cover, elevation, and firing range.

Documented features support the extra ablative armor, paired pods, Particle Cannon, and Gel Bomb Rack.
